The Mexican Healthy Products Summit is the leading international event connecting Mexico’s major retailers and distributors with international healthy products companies seeking to enter or expand distribution in the Mexican market.
Healthy products suppliers from 10 countries and 40 Mexican retailers, along with a key group of Mexican distributors and U.S. buyers, connected at the 12th Annual Mexican Healthy Products Summit. It was a record number of attendees, along with key expert speakers from Americas Market Intelligence and Ingredion gathering to help drive more healthy products onto the retail shelves in Mexico.
Some of the stores in attendance included supercenters such as Smart & Final and City Club; supermarkets such as City Market, La Comer, HEB Mexico, Chedraui, Al Super, Casa Ley, La Mission Super, Super Aki, Super Mode and Super Kompras; specialty health stores such as GNC, Nutrisa, Super Mayoreo Naturista and Starbucks; pharmacies including Farmacia del Ahorro, Farmacia San Pablo, Farmacia Natuvit and Farmacia Prixz; convenience stores such as Oxxo, Kiosko and Go Mart; department stores including Sanborns; and online stores such as Amazon and Mercado Libre, along with many more stores from throughout the country. For the first time, U.S. buyers were in attendance, looking for unique Latin American products for their American consumers.
In attendance were a diverse group of exhibitors representing categories including food and beverage, vitamins, supplements, beauty, personal care, household cleaning, ingredients, and pet care. There were also a number of co-packers at the Summit looking to help American and Latin American companies manufacture their products in Mexico.
Suppliers, buyers, and expert speakers had the opportunity to establish and build relationships in an intimate and effective setting with private one-on-one meetings and invaluable networking and educational events overlooking beautiful Vallarta Bay. Morning sessions featured speakers with the latest information on topics ranging from Reaching the Mexican Consumer, The Latest Healthy Lifestyle Trends and Research, The Changing Retail Landscape, and much more.
Healthy products exhibitors were from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Guatemala, and Italy.
